Services
Grove & Company was established in 1986 as a Chartered Building and Quantity Surveying practice, however over time architectural and interior design services were added and our professional offering has further expanded to include project management and CDM services. The practice is London based with offices in Chelsea.
In response to Client demand for "one stop" services, we established a design department over 20 years ago. The inclusion of in-house design enables us to offer Clients a seamless service from inception to completion. Completed projects range from high-end residential and commercial interior design through to substantial refurbishment and new-build schemes for both the public and private sector.
We act as Project Managers on large and frequently more complex projects or those which may require completion in the shortest time. When providing this service we take overall responsibility for the timely delivery of the project team's outputs. We do not attempt to provide all the required disciplines ourselves, our task is to plan the development process and to identify critical tasks and dates and then monitor the team's performance to ensure that delays internal to the project team are eliminated and those external to the team are minimised.
The role of Principal Designer is relatively new following the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015. These regulations superseded the previous Act which required the appointment of a Planning Supervisor or CDM Co-ordinator on all but the simplest of construction projects to review construction proposals from a health and safety perspective.
