We got our survey report, but terrible service. I had our survey done for our property purchase. They were referred by Halifax, on their panel. I looked at Google reviews and they weren't great, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and wanted ease, so went with it. The survey got booked for one date, but when I phoned up the day before to confirm the woman in the office didn't seem to have a clue what was going on.
She said there had been a mistake and it would be carried out the next day, then it turned out to be the day after that. I emailed some additional details to the surveyor (under receptionists instructions), I received no confirmation of this. The information I sent was not included in the final survey and no recognition was made of my request. The report took more than two weeks to send back, it was about 3-4 days late.
The whole process was delayed because of this. The report is ok, but it's pretty standard. I complained via email, received no response. The woman who answers the phone is short and doesn't seem like she knows what's going on. There was no thank you for business. I'm going to raise this with Halifax to have them removed from their panel and would highly recommend anyone reading this to go elsewhere. I've worked in Financial Services for 10 years and I know how to provide excellent customer service, this was a poor experience for us.
