Founded in 1999 Cheshire Surveys Ltd is a small, family-run firm offering a friendly, courteous, efficient and professional service carrying out land and measured building surveys as well as providing site setting out services. We operate mainly in Cheshire, Merseyside, South Manchester and North Wales and we are based out of an office in rural Great Barrow, Chester at the Barrowmore Enterprise Estate. We are fully insured and have professional indemnity, employer's and public liability cover in place.
Services
Jonathan established Cheshire Surveys in 1999, which became a Limited Company in 2003. Jonathan has 28 years' experience as a Survey Engineer. He began his career as a trainee land surveyor and spent 12 years working for a land surveying company in Chester before setting up on his own. Jonathan specialises in high accuracy surveying, site engineering services and 3D ground modelling.
We provide a range of survey services as well as setting out and site engineering services. We mainly serve Chester, Cheshire, North Wales and Merseyside but can travel further afield. We carry out one-off setting off work through to provision of engineers for longer term construction projects. Our measured building and elevation surveys can assist when development and maintenance work is being carried out on your property. We work with garden designers and landscape architects to provide topographical surveys which they can use as part of their design process.
Using modern laser scanning survey equipment and software, we can provide you with highly detailed, professional individual floor, elevation and cross section plans. Our measured building and elevation surveys can assist when development and maintenance work is being carried out on your property. We use a Leica RTC 360 laser scanner and Leica point cloud software package (Leica Cyclone; Leica CloudWorx) to carry out our measured building work. We can tailor the final drawings to the individual requirements of clients due to the level of detail captured in the scan data.
Here at Cheshire Surveys Ltd, we use only the latest Leica robotic total stations and GPS systems to carry out our topographical and level surveys. We provide full topographical surveys for sites of every shape and size. As such, we are able to produce topographical surveys to suit your requirements.
