Our business is owned and run by David Moore, Michael Dent & Mark Brookes who all live locally and take an active hands-on role in the day-to-day business. We are members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), members of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) and are Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA) licensed.We offer a full range of professional property services throughout the local area including Residential Property Sales, Residential Lettings, Residential Property Management, Commercial Property Sales and Commercial Property Management.
We have been helping buyers make these choices since 1993 and as we mostly deal with properties in Wellingborough and the surrounding villages, we know the area well and have the experience to deal with any issues as they come up. We won't pretend that buying a home can't sometimes be stressful, but by understanding the buying process and making proper plans, you can minimise the pressures that you otherwise may face.
Any recommendations that we may make to use a solicitor, conveyancer, removal company, house clearance company, mortgage advisor or similar businesses is based solely on our own experiences of the level of service that any such business normally provides. We do not receive any referral fees or have any other inducement arrangement in place that influences us in making the recommendations that we do. In short, we recommend on merit.
Letting your property can be extremely profitable, but it is also important to safeguard yourself by employing a reputable Letting Agent who will be able to look after it for you as well as protecting your legal rights. My partner and I recently bought a house through Harwoods and have been impressed with the service received the whole way through. We were kept informed and up to date regularly and when things became slow with our house sale (with another agent) Phil was on the ball, chasing up solicitors etc to keep things moving. Both Mike & Phil were extremely helpful and supportive throughout the sale of our house. From the valuation, house viewings, sale and completion they were both there every step of the way pushing what turned out to be a very long process (due to problems higher up the chain, so no fault of their own). I couldn't recommend them highly enough. We chose Hardwoods because we purchased the same property through them two years ago and at that time they were equally excellent. They obviously are both really passionate about their work and at no point did we have any doubt in them.
