Services
Due to our consistently increasing number of High Street lender contracts, and our expanding geographical areas, we are looking for AssocRICS/MRICS Registered Valuation Surveyors with at least two years post qualification experience, to work across the OX and RG (and associated) postcode areas. Home based positions are available with a basic salary of up to 50,000 pa plus income related bonus giving OTE of between 60,000 and 80,000 pa, company car or mileage allowance, company pension scheme and 25 days holiday a year.

I had a great experience with Butfield Ltd. Simon was very thorough, finding things which could have cost me a lot of money. Being a FTB, he was excellent at explaining everything about the property and the potential consequences of certain issues. Really put any nerves I had about the property to rest. I cannot recommend more highly!

We had a great and professional service from start to finish. Simon surveyed a property for us. He phoned on the day of the survey to explain his findings. Had a detailed report to us within days and also arranged a call to discuss the report wherever we had questions. His report was fair and accurate. Any future surveys we'll be straight back.

This company were asked by our purchasers Bank to value our home. They did a cursory look of approx 10 mins maybe 12 and gave our home a ZERO valuation. This has caused no end of problems that are still ongoing. Engineers have been to our home and engineers of high standing who have worked on behalf of Sir Norman Foster. To say this engineer was incredulous and in his words, "Anybody could be that Totally Irresponsible to value our home in that way" We have lived in for over 23 years and have a Multiple hundred thousand mortgage on is quite frankly Reckless in the extreme.
They have put in their own report and in the spoken word that they cant believe it. This has cost our buyers over 2000 to date and they are homeless with furniture in storage. The ongoing is still going to take a further 6 - 8 weeks from a visit and report done by this company on the 10th of July. We are now the 21st of August and being led to believe it will be 3rd week of October before this is sorted.
I would urge any buyer or seller to steer well clear of this company unless you want a ZERO valuation put on what you are selling or buying which will cause you the Buyer to perhaps be without any home and enormous stress to the seller, who in this case may be taking legal action. The engineer stated that our property as in land alone, without any house stood on it more than covers the mortgage the buyers are looking for and this company says its worth ZERO. Utterly reckless and totally irresponsible. Causing cost and stress for no reason? Based on an engineers report.
This company cost us and our buyers over 44,000 stay well clear. Gross negligence if ever I saw it and nobody else Banks, lawyers, etc can believe it could happen. Not finished with this yet. The person involved working at Butfields is a struck off director so we will see why sometime. Public knowledge. Companies house.
