Building Surveys
Report
This is the most detailed survey ACS Property Consultants provide and is suitable for all building types and ages, for both commercial and residential. The Building Survey is most suited to properties over 60 years old and or those, which have been significantly extended or altered. The Building survey provides a detailed description of the construction and its condition.
We would also recommended the Building Survey if the property is a period property, of unusual construction, dilapidated or has been extensively altered.
Our Building Surveys include identification of all of the defects affecting a property, provision of budget costs and time scales by which items require replacement and photographic evidence where required.
Our survey reports often allow the client to renegotiate the price due to the defects found.
The Building Survey Report is the most detailed assessment of your prospective new home that we provide. The Homebuyers Report and Valuation gives a greater insight into the property, detailing urgent and significant repairs on various aspects of the construction and finish. We provide our clients with Expert Witness Reports where there are legal disputes and when matters may go to Court.

The Homebuyer Service is a standard formatted report produced by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is designed specifically as an economy service and is best suited to standard forms of construction and on properties that are less than 60 years old and have not been significantly extended or altered.

David was one of the quickest to respond to my enquiry and was able to perform the survey within days which met our needs. Quality of service: The level of detail provided in the report was accurate, detailed and provided sufficient details for our decisions to be based upon. Value for money: The quote offered by ACS was the cheapest, which wouldn’t usually draw my attention, however after reading feedback on a few sites, I went with ACS and they offered a very good service, quick turnaround of report and overall the best value for money in my opinion. Professionalism: David was professional throughout even helping with some further queries we had and offered some sound advice before we paid for further surveys saving us money in the end.
