Services
Every three or four months we conduct collective property auctions which tend to include properties in need of renovation, tenanted or part vacant investment properties, properties of special interest, etc. If you are wishing to sell your property by auction, please contact Tim Shobrook on 01752 663341. Tim Shobrook B.Sc. FRICS heads our valuation and professional services department with over 40 years experience as a Chartered Surveyor in this field. He has previously been a Valuer Member of the First Tier Tribunal Property Chamber having held an appointment to the Residential Property Tribunal Service and its forerunners since 1994 until his retirement from the service.
Shobrook Management Ltd offers a property management service which is managed by Kathryn Littlejohns. We are a member of the Property Redress Scheme with a membership number PRS 002047 and tenants deposits are held by the Deposit Protection Service. We are also a member of Client Money Protect with a membership number CMP 005097 and a copy of our current certificate is shown below.

Lee, Jamie, Jason and the rest of the team at Shobrook's were great! Made easy work of a job that I thought was going to be very stressful and upsetting. They separated all the good from the rubbish and even took all the clothes to a local charity shop. They were very courteous and professional throughout the clearance process. I've been attending Shobrooks auction rooms for over 15 years, both as a buyer and a seller. Their weekly general sales feature everything and anything: white goods and pre loved electrical bargains, vintage china, boxes of costume jewellery, you never know what treasures you might unearth. Their well attended antique auctions include smalls, antique silver, paintings and period furniture plus intriguing esoterica. The staff are friendly and helpful and I have no hesitation in highly recommending Shobrooks to both buyers and sellers.

Perhaps unfortunate there were not more bidders. They are not the scum of the earth.surely there was a mirror worth saving? They get the best prices they can on the day.that is how they get paid.

Being New to Auctions I didn't have a clue what to do, the staff at Shobrook & co, are brilliant, there is always someone to answer questions & auctioneers are cleer & concise, I'm gradually getting to know the the people who come each week, Shobrook Auctions is a great experience & I highly recommend them

Shobrooks sold all of the contents of my fathers flat that was supposed to be left for me after he died. I was sole beneficiary to my fathers estate and I ended up with all the junk that couldn't be sold. They sold everything for peanuts at auction and somehow got away with it. Both Shobrooks and Sitters&co are not to be trusted. Scum of the earth.

I was very dissapointed when i attempted to have some items put into the salerooms to go at auction, i was told by a rather ugly halfwit that my items were not worth his bothering with. He had only taken a cursory glance at three boxes containing pottery and said i would probably end up owing the salerooms for selling them. If he knew anything about old pots he would have realised that Denby Arabesque and Ainsley fine bone china were probably worth any auctioneers time. Their loss. I have a house to clear with quita a few antiques.
