In 1992, the valuation business was separated from the company's estate agency division and in 1999, on the cusp of a new millennium, we rebranded as e.surv Chartered Surveyors.

A RICS Level 1 Survey is the most basic of the three surveys. It's designed for home buyers or homeowners who are seeking a professional and objective report on the condition of a property. A RICS Level 1 Survey is best suited to conventionally built, modern properties - not older, complex or neglected properties.
A RICS Level 2 Survey is a survey designed for those who want a professional opinion of the condition of the main elements of a property. It will suit a broad range of conventionally built properties but is unlikely to suit significantly extended or altered buildings, unique, older historic properties, or properties in a neglected condition.

Bank appointed this company, the surveyor declared the property was not mortgageable because there is a School and a Pub adjacent which is totally false because they are in different roads! When asked to come again they booked another survey and never showed up. I had to change bank after months of back and forth. Disgraceful experience, stay away.

Not impressed at all was not very well wish I had canceled. Hid behind a face mask got no idea who he was. Only mentioned rear roof incompleat. I informed him that was my equity release plan. As was external insulation. The bit of a report I have seen refers to rear extension. it's never had one. Incorrectly guesses at wall construction to 1st floor side extension, that is being rebuilt.
With added insulation to exteria. All approved by planning. The structural integrity of which has been well documented and approved by building regs. It's is obviously 6 (150mm) thick. It needs external insulation to Finnish. Describes the entire internals as needing renovating. All the walls are good, painted plaster nothing hidden under wallpaper.
So are the doors and furniture Regards the situation as impossible to value without a full structural survey. Demonstrating his lack of local knowledge. There are no structural concerns. I could go on more. It feels more like an attempt to gift greedy property developers, it has provided no useful constructive, information for myself. Anyone reading it in my opinion would be greatly mislead. Very concerned as to the suffering it carries in it errars. I intend reporting this to governing body.

Disgraceful incompetent and inconsistent. If I could give 0 I would. Do not allow these donkeys to value your property. Undervalued my property, meaning i cannot complete my product switch. The disgraceful thing is that the same surveyor has valued a property on the same road for much higher. They are not fit for purpose

Was concerned when reading these reviews when nationwide assigned them to my house purchase. However soon they were assigned they did the survey within 5 days, contacted me prior to see if I had any concerns and published the report on day of survey which appeared very thorough. Can't complain on how smoothly it went.

Surveyor was barely at the house for ten minutes, measured a couple of rooms and cost us the mortgage we had been offered on the place we were buying. Requested their valuation report and as of yet have received nothing, despite chasing twice. Just discovered that they are who the mortgage provider we've just applied to use for their evaluation and they are sending the same person that got the offer withdrawn from the last place we applied to.
I have absolutely no confidence in the surveyor to do the job properly given what happened last time and am now having to mentally prepare to be forced to pull out of the purchase after literally all of the other legal work has already been done.

Very poor company had them do a survey on our property before we bought it. Had a leaking roof that they did not pick up had to make a complaint to them and then they finally paid for new roof on property as they failed to pick it up. Have damp throughout property which again failed to pick up on survey carried out by them. Made another complaint which they have now said they won't do anything about it. Avoid at all costs.

I received a text message from E-surv and replied booking an appointment for the next week. I read the reviews and was really worried about the outcome of my valuation. I had nothing to be worried about! The surveyor was extremely professional and courteous. He was also knowledgeable about the area I live. It's refreshing to see a company take covid seriously and implement a range of steps to protect both their staff and customer. The surveyor even didn't touch any of my door handles with his hands. My bank received the report a couple of days later so a very efficient process. Thank you E-surv
