Since moving in we discovered a number of shortcomings in our survey from DMP-LLP which resulted in have to spend 17,000 to resolve all the issue they missed which included damp in the bathroom due to incorrect damp-proofing at the point of installation, failed flashing kits on all 3 velux windows which water damage was visible at the time of the survey but they failed to address and French doors that weren't sealed and wouldn't open.

Since forwarding our case to a debt collector their legal team has advised this is clear cut case of fraud by misrepresentation, as they claim to be chartered surveyors, however no member of the company is RICS or has the equivalent level of masters qualification to support such a claim. They also claim on their website to be "committed to delivering standards and guidance for (RICS) The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, " however this statement is also false as confirmed by two professional roofers a plumber and an actual chartered surveyor.

They failed to commit to their own complaints procedure, claiming they would provide a report into our claim within 21 days, this took over 4 months and when it finally arrived it completely avoided any of the points we had raised, focusing on small issues that they did get right such as "minor grouting issues." After we provided substantial evidence that proves they are at fault they offered to "forward the case to their insurer and they would be in touch with 24/48 hours to take the next steps." However over a month has now passed and when I chase them they claim that this is not accepting fault and they have nothing more to say to us.

Clearly I would recommend giving any money to this fraudulent company as they are unable to provide you with a survey that is worth the paper it is written on. We look forward to be reimbursed to the full extent of what their incompetence has cost us and we will see this through the courts if we have to.

Wonderful experience! I am a first time buyer who wanted a full building survey completed pre purchase.
