Contacted on two occasions to book a home buyers survey and told each time that someone would get back to me as soon as possible. Never heard anything back a week later so ended up just going elsewhere.

I really struggled to find a Company that could help me with a RICS valuation related to a previous HomeBuy Direct scheme. Finding Paul Airey in a google search, I called and spoke to someone called James who was super helpful. He was very knowledgable around this subject and I was able to get this sorted within days of enquiring. He was experienced, prompt, very polite and professional and that was a definite breath of fresh air after having to deal with various companies and getting nowhere. Highly recommend this Company for your Homebuy Direct RICS valuation, and they are also great value for money.

Great experience with the evaluation. James booked us in for an evalution the next day after having a call with us. Report took a few days to arrive and was very detailed and fair. James listened to everything we had to say and did an excellent job! Very polite and prompt to reply. Would definitely recommend!

Do yourself a favour and avoid. Questioned the integrity of my financial advisor, myself, cancelled the night before for a 9am appointment. Decided they wanted to do a remote appointment referencing Covid and that the person managing the booking had only been told the night before they could do it remotely to then be told they've been doing them for nearly a year, so it wasn't new information or procedure. Asked them for the documentation stating they could do a remote valuation for help to buy to be told it was for their attention only. Shocking service for working people with young families. Learnt afterwards neighbour had similar poor experience.

We used Paul Airey for our Home Buyers Survey. I was impressed with how fast they organised this with the estate agent and how quickly they managed to get the Survey over too us. The Survey was thorough whilst still being very easy to understand. Would highly recommend!

Apart from taking a few photos and putting them on their website they did nothing for their money, took an offer but the sale fell through as the buyer did not have the funds (seriously doubt vetting of buyer) took another offer from a lovely family, no assistance or updates at all from Paul Airey and we ended up dealing direct with the buyer to progress the sale, very frustrating company!

Paul has carried out two home buyers surveys for me, promptly and efficiently. I can thoroughly recommend him. First class and professional service from Paul and his staff.

Instructed this firm to carry out a survey with specific requirements. On the RICS website under there company ad it clearly states all reports are written within 48 hours I waited for over a week and i was required to constant chase this up as the matter was very urgent. They do not return calls or answer emails! The staff are very rude and and whilst I tried my best to ask for some clarity they were quite rude.

Very very poor service overall if i pay over 240 for a service I am within my rights to seek clarity on issues. Matter is now resolved however this is one company I would avoid my experience of this firm was awful, i wish i read the reviews on here before hand as everyone is saying similar things.

Excellent service from the initial home visit with Anthony, and, after our first sale fell through, Anthony, Vivian and Marie helped guide us through (an albeit stressful) second sale. The team were on hand to update us whenever we needed a little reassurance and worked tirelessly to get the sale done. Would highly recommend Paul Airey to anyone.

BEWARE SCUMBAG IMMORAL ESTATE AGENT PAUL AIREY in Sunderland! PLEASE SHARE TO WARN OTHERS. IMMORAL Paul Airey failed to sell a property in 2013 so instead was instructed to remove the property from sale and find tenants instead. Which he did and received a fee for doing this. When independently a part exchange for the property was. secured IN 2017!

He then sent a bill for 2000 for selling the property. He frightened the owner (a pensioner) so much with threats of court proceedings that they paid the bill even though he had not marketed or took any action to sell the property for 3 and a half years. He is a disgrace and immoral and everyone should be aware of his underhand tactics to earn a buck! SO BEWARE, if you had you property up for sale 5 years ago with PAUL AIREY, took it off the market but then manage to sell it yourself. He'll slap you with a bill! PLEASE SHARE SO OTHER PEOPLE DON'T FALL INTO THIS TRAP.

Having both purchased and sold through Paul Airey I cannot speak highly enough of the team. As a team they are proactive, ahead of the game in every way and make you feel valued with every interaction. When involved in my sale they kept me informed while making the whole process move swiftly and professionally.
