Huntley Cartwright was established in 1985 in Oxted, Surrey. Within four years the practice had grown and moved to Caterham, Surrey, where we now have eight partners and employ over 30 staff. Our team has contributed to many varied projects over the years. We have developed particular expertise working for public and private customers in education, heritage, commercial, cultural and residential sectors as well as public realm and marine markets. Our staff are our greatest asset and we value the contribution they make.
Quantity surveying is the financial management of a building or civil engineering project. Our approach is to be a proactive member of the project team. We provide our clients with specialised cost advice to give them confidence in the viability, profitability and outturn cost of their projects. Our wide range of technical knowledge enables us to balance time, quality, cost and risk, resulting in the efficient delivery of a project.
Our chartered quantity surveyors have earned the trust of our clients over many years. This has led to us being invited to take on the role of project manager for many important projects. We project manage the design and construction teams from initial concept through to the final handover. This service has a wide brief, typically starting with the recruitment of the design team and the appointment of specialist consultants.
