Had never heard of this company before until they were recommended us by word of mouth. There are the usual two surveying companies in the Aberdeenshire area that dominate the market and they appear to have agreed the set fee so that there is no competition between them. Home Report Company quoted me 275 less than what these other companies were quoting and there was no difference in the product provided. Andrew from the Aberdeen Branch attended well on time and was polite and kept us well informed. Had our completed report with us within 2 days. Excellent service and will have no hesitation in using them again. Thoroughly recommended.

Excellent service - Claire was super responsive even in the midst of the pandemic. The surveyor, Andrew, was lovely and thorough, and took all necessary safety precautions when visiting our property. We had the report back next day and the price is better than through any estate agents. Also gives you the added benefit of time to choose an agent for the sale without holding up the valuation. Used the Home Report Company in April 2018. It's the first time I've had a home report done, so I can't compare with other providers except to say the Home Report Company's pricing was much better than other quotes I got, and much better represented the work involved. All my queries were answered very promptly, there was no hassle in setting the visit appointment time, and the surveyor turned up on time, and was professional. The draft report was turned around very quickly, and was accurate. Overall, I was impressed.
