Sun Hill brings a modern approach to surveying with a unique combination of traditional and state-of-the-art mobile mapping technology, enabling greater flexibility and allowing for a more cost and time efficient service for our clients.
Our experienced surveyors use Robotic Total Stations to produce highly accurate 2D and 3D Topographical Surveys. Sun Hill's Topographical Surveys are tailored precisely to your specification, ensuring all requested detail is accurately recorded. Our quality control procedure ensures that all topographical surveys are checked and verified before being distributed to the client.
Sun Hill is experienced in using 3D Laser Scanning to produce highly accurate surveys of detailed structures and buildings. Using the latest laser scanning technology Sun Hill produces millimetre accurate point clouds and delivers a range of outputs to meet the client's requirement. Our surveyors are Confined Spaces trained, allowing us to laser scan areas with restricted access, such as tunnels.
Sun Hill can provide dedicated full time engineers to work on the larger construction sites, complete with Surveying Equipment, laptops and software. Our site engineers can work as a part of your site team and assist in supervising all your activities as well as setting out and performing engineering processes.
In addition to capturing GIS data using the Pegasus:Two Mobile Mapping system, we also provide GIS Data Capture services for areas without vehicular access. We capture a wide range of GIS data for use in asset management. From the type or model of an asset, to reference numbers and measurements, all key information can be linked to an asset's precise position.
