Duncan and his team now work from modern offices just off Junction 14 (M1). The Company carries out all the usual surveys and valuations for house buyers, probate, matrimonial disputes etc.
The Company opened an energy and sustainability department in 2006 and this has grown to become a significant part of the business and provides SAP ratings, Energy Performance Certificates, Display Energy Certificates, Code for Sustainable Homes and Eco Homes assessments as well as sustainabilty statements for Part 1B.

A party wall surveyor is a person who specialises in resolving disputes arising under the Party Wall etc Act 1996. The Party Wall etc Act. 1996 was enacted to provide a framework to enable property owners to carry out certain proposed building works which may have an effect upon an adjoining property whilst protecting the adjoining owners (neighbours) insofar as they may be affected by the works. It is also the intention of the Act to prevent costly court proceedings ensuing between neighbouring parties.

VERY VERY POOR! Prestige finance just refunded my survey cost after I took them to the small claims court after they sent these clowns around to do a valuation. Lots of basic errors and then get it totally wrong, either its deliberate to force your onto a higher interest rate or just complete incompetence. If you pay for a professional service you should get it. If you re-mortgage and the mortgage company want to send these cowboys around please insist on someone else.

I used this surveyor for a property valuation to redeem my Help to Buy loan. The transaction was smooth, price was fair (one of the lowest I found), the surveyor was very friendly and polite. I received my valuation report promptly after the visit and the valuation figure looked reasonable. Overall this was a great experience.
